*At
the altar, our Lord Jesus Christ
delivers His true body and true
blood into our mouths. This
gift of His body and blood, given
in, with, and under bread and
wine, forgives sins, strengthens
our faith, binds us in communion
to our Lord, and unites us in
communion with eachother as One
People: forgiven. In this is
peace, life and salvation.
(Matthew 26: 26-28) All
communicant members of the
Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod and
those Lutheran Churches in
declared altar and pulpit
fellowship with us, have publicly
confessed this sacred gift and its
blessings, and so are encouraged
to commune. Other guests
wishing to join our confession in
this gift and all the gifts of
Christ are asked to speak with one
of the pastors or elders. It
is our constant prayer that the
barriers that divide Christ's
church may one day be
healed. The clear individual
cups are white wine and the other
individual cups are grape juice. |
