The 2007 Servant Event was one of those years that we call
"odds and ends" years. Sometimes you get
to start and finish a major project. There are also
years where you need to do many minor projects. Many
of this year's projects had been started by other groups,
so at first it was hard to take "ownership" of
the projects. But, in the end the group pulled
together and felt satisfied with what they had
accomplished.
The group finished the exterior and interior
walls of two houses that had been started by other servant
event teams. In addition, the team completed the
showers at Santisima Trinidad that last year's team had
started. They installed ceramic tile, finished walls
and trim in the kitchen area, and worked on the ceiling of
the education building.
