This year's work was divided between two job sites over an
hour apart. Traveling to Anapra, part of the mission
team poured concrete in the area between the front of the
Hernandez home and the street, preventing water from
entering the home. Lot's of sore muscles testified
to the fast and hot work that was accomplished in a short
time.
The other part of the team built
a 12 x 24' 2-room house for a poor family in Anapra.
Prior to the construction of this home the grandmother was
forced to live in an abandoned school bus (without air
conditioning of course). Many of the team members
had their first experience at constructing walls, hanging
sheet rock, roofing and wiring, but they did a quite well!
